According to him, when it comes to comedy in Ghana, no tribe comes close to the Akyems.
The celebrated sports journalist, known for his insightful commentary and analysis in the world of athletics, has recently taken on a new passion for comedy.
He graced the studios of Angel FM in Accra, where he openly shared his enthusiasm for blending humor with sports reporting.
During his appearance, he engaged the audience with captivating anecdotes and showcased his unique ability to find laughter in the realm of competitive sports, further solidifying his reputation as a versatile talent in the media landscape.
"You can clearly observe that many of the most renowned comedians hail from the Akyem region. Notable figures like the late Bob Santo, who left an indelible mark on the comedy scene, along with Judas, Akrobeto, and Katawere, all originated from Akyem.

Dan Kwaku Yeboah is currently venturing into comic skits apart from being known as a sports journalist.
Last year, he hosted his first stand-up comedy at the National Theatre, which recorded a good patronage.
Dan Kwaku Yeboah, known for his appearances on Peace FM's flagship program, the Kokrokoo Morning Show, where he presents sports and shares short comic stories, has now taken a significant step by creating a series of comic skits titled 'Lotto Doctor'. This exciting new series is set to be released soon.
